19 Weeks

Hard to believe she is already 19 weeks old. I caught her after she feel asleep in her bouncy seat. She was holding on the duck's foot. It was really cute.

Thanksgiving and Daddy's birthday

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Dad's. We also celebrated Brian's birthday that day too since he turned 30 something on Friday. Mikaela got to see lots of her family and friends and we all had a really good time. This picture is Mikaela and G.G.. Tracey Blanchard made Mikaela's hat.

4 month check up

Everything went well for Mikaela's 4 month check up. She got 3 shots, which she did not like. I am glad that she will not remember them. Her measurements are: weight 13 pounds 13 ounces, height 25 1/4 inches, head circumference 40.5 cm. Her percentages with the growth chart are as they were last check up. Long and lean. She has her first cold right now. Runny nose and cough. She likes the suction bulb as much as I did. I remember wanting to run and hide when mom would come at me with that thing. But it helps clear her little nose.

18 weeks

We tried rice cereal for the first time. We will try again next week.

It snowed today but I am at work. I don't know if Mikaela got up in time to see it. She is spending the day with her daddy.

I had Mikaela's pictures done with Wende again. This is just one of the cute pictures. Wende gave it to us in black and white but Brian enhanced it with a little color. She is growing so fast. She is rolling over now. Tummy to back and back to tummy.

Mikaela's first football game was October 4th. NCSU vs Boston College. It was Homecoming. It was a close game. Of course, I didn't have a camera so good friends took pictures and sent them to us. Hope you like them.
Tracey Blanchard bought the cute bloomers. I love them!

Mikaela rolled from her tummy to her back all by herself this morning. I think it surprised her! I surprised me!

Mikaela's last check up

Mikaela's last check up went well. Dr. Kubicki was pleased with her weight gain and the negative test results. We are continuing with the medicine for now. She is starting to coo more and smile at different people. She can hold up her head briefly. She enjoys her tummy time, working on arm and leg muscles. God help us when she becomes mobile, because it seems she is ready to go.

Labor Day

The Beddingfield's had some friends over for Labor Day. Several people got to hold Mikaela but Katie Baker was the lucky one when I snapped these shots.

Mikaela's first time at Bass Mountain

I feel like I spent a good portion of my childhood at Bass Mountain at the bluegrass festivals. This past weekend, Mikaela had her first experience at a bluegrass festival. At 5 weeks old, I think she did really well. I personally did not hold her very much. She was a very popular girl. Pop Pop took her to meet everyone in the "bluegrass family". He was just a little proud of his new granddaughter!
Noah is great with his new cousin. He enjoys holding her and learning what she can do and can't do. He is very attentive.
Nathan is busy busy busy all the time. Always on the move. When Mikaela gets older and can move too, he may be a bit more interested.
